The funniest thing to me is that Pearl Harbor was a totally justified attack on a military target. There is really nothing to apologize for. They didn't give warning, what is this a fairy tale? Sneak attacks are the bread and butter of successful armies and the Japanese had been cut off from vital supplies by the US, not only for the war effort but to keep the people fed. Obviously Japs got their shit pushed in atomically, but this was their best shot
