My friend bailed so I didn't get to see the Avs fall all over the ice and lose the puck every 5 seconds in person. After that display part of me hopes they lose in the 2nd again.

I'm all in this year. The battle of Alberta and Tampa Bay going for a 3rd straight Stanley Cup is enough to keep me interested. I watched the Oilers-Flames last night and saw Kane's hat trick.

It's just what they do in the 2nd round. 2002 was the last time they made it past said round. I thought them coming out flat against Vegas last year was as bad as it would get, but if they choke away this series, that will top it.
Their record doesn't reflect it, because they won so many games, but there were a lot of times they almost blew massive leads this season.

He's my favorite player on the team, too. Played amazing against Nashville, and apparently decided that was good enough. Ugh.

Yeah that was one of the best coast to coast goals I've ever seen - it was like he just decided "My team ought to have a goal so I might as well score now"

I wish Calgary would have won last night and extended the series.

I'm not sure if I want the Avs to win the series or to lose in game 7 with Naz careening into the crease with a bomb vest yelling "Allahu Akbar" in the final seconds.

Although come to think of it, that's basically what he did to Binnington
