Can someone ask if at one point management mentioned that he talked/joked less than Ant/Jimmy/guest (therefore making him think he needs to butt in with inane comments halting the ship to make his voice heard like if a teacher was watching over a school project)

it's been an assumption i've had for awhile.

Management never had an issue with Opie on the show. They just hated him personally. He’s a dramatic dick. If I recall, both Eric Logan and Tom Chiasano felt that Jimmy was dead weight. What’s funny was that this was from 2004-2007 when they both said this. Those two were way ahead of the curve. I applaud them

Imagine hiring security for 100k per year and then sitting in your car on the upper west side for 3 hours every other day? What is his security team doing during that time? It is possible that he considers his common charges in his building "security" which it partly is, he also has private security at the beach which costs him some money. Between the 2 100k isn't hard to believe. But neither will be protecting him at a bar or while sitting in his car.
