This dickless man is completely incapable of learning. The spooky "Nothing can help you now" talk, the I DEFINE WHAT DEFAMATION IS, CHILD!, the "I do not have pedophile or rapist friends despite ample proof available online", the responding to emojis with threats and insults.... None of these benefit him at all and they ALL damage his reputation and status.
This looks fucking insane to anybody outside of his little Pattiverse, comical to people who hate him and gets tiresome for any non-Nokes level loser followers who might've supported him. He has so few genuine people backing him left, and every time he does this, more and more authors and industry figures publicly shit on him or admit they're done with trying to rationalize his behavior.
Even if he was 100% right, which of course he isn't, any normal person would realize the irreversible damage being done. If he stopped responding today, dropped his lawsuits and went radio silent, he'd still never recover or get near to his peak ever again. So, lets say this. If somebody stole his shitty motorcycle, and his neighbor who hates him because he installs fences wrong and drunkenly fights cops in his front lawn, says "Hey serves you right, fat fuck." so he says YOU STOLE IT! YOU DID IT! and calls the police and they investigate but there's no proof at all. And in fact there's evidence Patrick might've sold it himself. Now, he goes on an internet campaign calling his neighbor a theif and a criminal.
So Veslie Larney, someone in his industry, says hey stop doing that, you're nuts and what about the evidence online that you did all this yourself? And he then declares her mentally ill, dangerous, a criminal, violent, and worst of all part of the conspiracy to steal his shitty motorcycle. She pushes back and mocks him for his insane response. So he then CALLS HER WORK and tries to have her fired. And starts a campaign to have her blackballed out of the industry. And follows her around from behind a block to slander and defame her. And goes after people she works with with threats.
Any outside observer would REALLY think that he was the victim? Or sane? Or not committing legally actionable defamation? Someone could look at this and think Yeah, Veslie Larney is obviously aligned with and enabling and helping the motorcycle thief.

Also "Defamation, by law, must be untrue" is itself untrue. If I baselessly call someone a pedophile repeatedly in public without any evidence whatsoever, that's defamation. It doesn't necessarily matter if that someone is actually a pedophile. Proving defamation is about determining whether or not someone is defaming you. It doesn't necessarily mean that you have to determine if the claim is true. Conversely you can also get off the hook for defamation if there is evidence that a reasonable person would believe something based on public evidence. For example, if Eric Hildeman is not a pedophile, it would still be hard for him to prove anyone here is defaming him because he has publicly said some incredibly stupid things regarding pedophilia. "Truth" is not a requirement.
