At one point Dougie was following me around from thread to thread responding to me wherever I went, and I told him that if he was going to do that I'd pull my pocket inside out and make him grab it and follow me around as my "prison wife"; and he took it very, very badly.

It turns out he'd been full-on sexually abused as a child - repressed memories, bed-wetting nightmares into his teens, an inability to form romantic relationships in adult life, alcohol abuse problems, the works - and he tearfully flipped the fuck out for a couple of weeks. We got a bunch of posts from him blaming me for whatever his abuser had done to him before he deleted his accounts in yet another drunken rage.

I think that was about two of his drunken deletes ago, maybe three.
