Boston was/is wayyyy cooler than NY, especially in the 90s. Back then my dad used to take us to Southie and wed make a day of hitting bakeries and watching drunks fight at bars. It was awesome. Luckily Fire Island is only one tiny and isolated part of Suffolk County, and even though the county is evenly split politically, they would be well advised to quarantine themselves on their AIDS-ridden island. Anti-faggot "hate" crimes have occurred in Sayville, Patchogue, Bayport, and Manorville.
