4 nights at Wembley? They will probably sell those 4 out. It’s got to a be a short list of groups that are still holding out to do a reunion while being offered huge money.

They could do any amount and sell out, I don’t think other countries realise the demand for them in the UK.

In the 90s 4% of the population applied for tickets at their biggest show. The allure is only bigger now after 15 years of not existing.

They could do a residency at Wembley.

I love Oasis, I learned to play the guitar (badly) because of them.

I remember being witness to their peak. You couldn't avoid them, not in what you were reading, what you were watching, or what you were listening to.

They. Were. EVERYWHERE. Massive is still an understatement.

And I remember watching that MTV Unplugged special. Liam pretending to have laryngitis (and instead taking the piss out of Noel up in the balcony), while Noel did it on his own. And I think Noel did a damn good job, for the record.

But fuck, their fights were infamous. And there were plenty that didn't make the news, you'd hear them secondhand behind the scenes from theater crews, managers, the faceless people that help make the magic happen. So yeah, I was surprised when they buried the hatchet for this new tour.

Then again, I do play music with my brother, so... I get it.

"Wibbling Rivalry" a recording of one of their arguments got released on a bootleg and got in the top 20.

I’ve seen Liam live and I’m not in a hurry to get doused in beer and piss, fucking fog niggers

If they come to states I might catch a show but keep Noel’s solo shit out of the set list.

Perhaps I was a bit harsh.
RASTAS
Were they seriously that big? The only song I can think of is Wonderwall.

They set all kinds of attendance and sales records yeah. I didn't hear about them til after the fact though...I was a classic rock snob and even though I watched MTV and VH1, neither were playing them because they'd already pissed off the industry in the US. My dad was watching their Behind The Music in like 2000 and was like "you should come watch this, these guys are hilarious." I got completely obsessed not long after. Even in 2009 they set the record for selling out MSG the fastest with no American media acknowledging them.

I bet you didn't retain any semen after that.
I retained semen all over this one broad that latched onto me in the pit who had a suite in Palms Place and said she’d boned Liam the year before and wanted to find him. Was a wild weekend. Also met Russell Brand and chopped it up with him for a bit. Every time we’d get in the elevators the fag from Good Charlotte was in there on the way to or from DJing. Had breakfast next to Robin Leach the next morning.
