Nah. Find some local gavone dump truck company or guy doing side dump truck work. Ask the haul price from the nearest stone yard or quarry. This is a huge relief because of course, contractors will tell you you have to do the full job now with driveway fabric and such. All I'd hear in my head were cash register sounds at each component. We're just looking for a way to get in and out and this all sounds very doable ourselves.
We'll look more into Kubota (we were leaning toward Bobcat). Either way, more attachments = more fun.
Don't let them sell you stone by the ton delivered, say your cousin works at the yard and you get a discount. Then pay the yard for idk 100 tons, that's 5 tandem loads. Otherwise they normally double the per-ton price, that's where they rape the ignorant.
4x4 tractor loader to own, rent skid steer and excavators as needed.
If your property is that mushy you'll need a tractor to pull your skid steer out anyway, they do poorly in muck. Also they smear the ground with every turn, pretty well fucking your grass right off.
