I took my Dreamcast out of storage this past weekend funny enough. But I don't have the cords that go into the TV or power. So I need to order that off amazon. I got a ton of bootleg games off Craigslist about 15 years ago. Looking forward to getting those cords and playing some Power Stone.

I'm pretty sure you can play almost all ps4 games on the ps5. A computer would be a better option but if you can't afford one at the moment you're probably better off getting a ps5, they'll drop supporting madden on the ps4 sooner than they will on the ps5.

I don't own a ps5 so I couldn't tell you what games are worth getting.

There's also the steam deck. But I have no idea what that goes for.

Astro Boy Omegga Nigger for GBA was incredible. I had to emulate that because at the time I had the shitty PS2 Astro Boy game made by Sonic Team instead. Fun fact that game was Sonic Team's first time using Havoc physics. You know what Sonic Team game had Havoc physics right afterward? I don't need to spell it out. You know.

I only have Alpha 3 for Dreamcast, and Streetfighter 3. All of my memory cards are fucked, which kinda blows, so I could never order any cool jrpgs to play on it.

If yours still works, I heard ISO's are available online for nearly every game.

It's how someone hooked me up with the unreleased Half Life on a burned disc before I had to rid my system. Game was finished and never released, and it was excellent.

Whether they still work or not I have no idea but I have a box of CD's in the garage from 20+years ago that have just abut all of them on. 800+ titles inc every regional release of each title. At one point I had every title available.

That was the GD-ROM technology. Basically a CD but proprietary, could fit a Gig of data.

It also made it INSANELY easy to pirate. That doesn't get talked about enough on why it failed.

The whole concept/code to bypass the security came from a demo disk released (remember those) with a game magazine (remember those)
I released the PAL version of WWF attitude to the 'scene' too. At the time it was one of the titles that never got a scene PAL release for some reason. I dumped the disc using a custom cable imported from OG Hong Kong site lik-sang (rip).

The data on GDroms was written from the outside of the disc inwards (opposite to CD) so smaller games had to be packed out to push the game data to the edge of the disc, larger games had the video/audio recompressed to fit on the CD, or split into two discs.
Hopefully the current ISO's will have ben re ripped to preserve all this If I ever get round to downloading them.
