Tried to watch that horseshit with my 13 year old son ( sorry he has normal sized fingers Boomia ) and after 15 minutes he asked to shut that woke piece of shit off and put on YouTube. Of course the hero is an Indian chick who has to fight the patriarchy and the predator. Plus they all speak perfect English in the early 1700's.
Yeah retard. The implication was that what we hear in English is their Comanche language.

This is very common in many movies that take place in a non-English speaking locale or era.

You think Gladiator would have been as big a hit if they spoke in Latin?

Prey was a perfectly acceptable movie. I enjoyed it.

However it’s not even in the same fawkin’ universe as Predator. Arnold is a once in a generation star, add in Ventura, Apollo Creed, the whole cast is fawkin’ great. Pat is fat and retarded.

Yeah I actually saw it in a Comanche dub and that probably helped, honestly. But I agree, it's like that Nazi movie Tom Cruise made where they transitioned into English after a minute or two; it's movie license. You have to read between the lines.

That would have been preferable because I personally hate when actors in epics put on that faux British/Heroic accent. Gladiator, Troy, etc why are you talking like that? There's that show Barbarians that's spoken in classical Latin and it's pretty popular.

The irony of that is that the Roman reports of the English were that they were barbaric mud people who spent all day neck deep in bogs.

Honestly, I think Fury Road is one of the most successfully realized movies of the last 20 years. I also believe Pat only believes that because he read enough Tweets to form an opinion for him.
Im willing to bet Furyosa was who he was copying when he made his protagonist an amputee female for that hack poachers in space Herd Immunity.

Predator was peak bicep-bending Arnold paired with peak coke-fueled, gambling-indebted John McTiernan (the director of Die Hard).

It's scarier than most horror movies, more tense than most oscar-baiting dramas, and its effects still hold up after 35 years.

That movie ain't coming off the Mount Rushmore of action movies anytime soon.

But was the cinematography expansive?

Watch Predator 1987 in 3D. It's fantastic.

Yeah I know 3D sucks. Blah blah blah. You will be amazed how fucking good it is.

“Movies have evolved”

What the fuck is this supposed to mean?

Simply because a movie is older it’s no longer valid? The bright shiny new “current year” politics stuff is naturally better on account of it being newer? Modern movie effects techniques somehow make a movie “better” regardless of plot/characterization/etc?

I hate him so much. To Pat, the original Predator is a “mindless action movie” and Starship Troopers and Army of Darkness are “90s trash”. But he raves about Woke Lady Predator, Hook, and Star Wars plotless garbage and thinks boring ass Hunt for Red October is a masterpiece.

Just for his movie takes alone, he is the worst person in history.
Pat is probably one of those fucking dipshits that dislikes Starship Troopers for being "pro-fascism".

No, he stole that whole idea from real shit he read on Twitter. His amputee female hunting poachers is based on Army vet Kinessa Johnson. Had that book ever been published, he'd probably reluctantly acknowledge that if asked and otherwise never bring it up.

I know thats the main source of the "woman hunts poachers" but the amputee part was where he was trying add robot parts to her to make her "sci-fi" had to have come from Fury Road.
