You show up to school and they teach you how to "fall". So when a bunch of people charge at the master and he throws them around, it looks effortless because the students are taught how to get tossed. It's basically like pro wrestling, especially shit like sunset flip powerbombs where the person taking it is doing the work. Try it in a real fight and whoever you're attempting to throw will just stand there.

It's not like Judo where you actually use momentum and your hips and legs to physically lift and throw people around. it's for people who don't want to do any work, which is why Rick and Maggie like to do it.
I don't watch or follow MMA, despite being from same post code as McGregor (can't stand him) and my youngest sister working with his mother in law for a few years....
BUT I absolutely LOVE how its taken apart the whole huge 80s mall ninja shit. The whole comic book ads for learning 'dim mak', Count Dante, Frank Dux and Steven Segal shit...
I love how all these 'masters' who command puppet shows get fucking smashed in the face. That fat fuck George something who was waffling about positions of your toe and tongue making you invincible to 'chi balls'...
Invisible knock outs and all..
They just rock in with a background in BJJ or whatever and pull apart these 'masters' like warm bread.

Fitness saved my life and its the buzz I chase now rather than smack and crack. Got into a lot of fights the years in and out jail and the life I lead. You don't win em all. Ivve never been totally battered but I've lost fights. Thankfully not one with a knife where I only got two stab wounds to the ribs but literally fabric saved me then...
Anyway... Bad days...

So I've a few years of boxing, muay thai, enough TKD as I felt I needed... and BJJ of course.
Personally I prefer boxing. It taught me to frame my body, keep the guard up, feint, go for an opening, get technical and shut down fights with a well placed punch.nott to say that I havnt gone all in jailhouse windmilling! 😂 Kept guard up though when needed to! 😂

.It importantly taught me to take punches in the face and not seize up and panic!
Also the training i do for it keeps my cardio up to the max and people forget how tiring fights can be!

Fatrick is without a doubt the spastic who thinks he can do this... It starts at...
3.20 guys sorry...

That he can just use those 'moves' to flip around attackers and 'eliminate' them. He would be too shaking and panicking to even land a shot from his Kool Kustom Glokk, if he could unholster it...

Reality is that he EVER runs his mouth and it gets heated, he's on the phone to police, behind Nikki...

Doesnt “well endowed” generally refer to dick size?? Ive heard girls say “large bust” or “broad/larger in the chest (than most)” but well endowed has always referred to a guy whenever ive heard it before.

I could be wrong here but isn't Aikido a martial art that's been proven to be pretty much useless in any practical sense? Very fitting that Ms Schill decided to practice it then.
My dad used to teach it. It’s useful in the sense you can control people who have no idea what they’re doing without leaving your feet in situations where you might get your head kicked in. A lot of cops and bouncers would train it. Without anything else and against people who know what they’re doing it’s mostly useless but it does develop balance and control. My dad still has crazy old man grip in both hands from all the wrist locks they learn.

I remember she tweeted once about how she had a specialised role in Akido training, and she used the Japanese name for it.

I forget what it was, but I looked it up and it meant "throwing dummy" - she's basically the big, fat object other people throw around to practice their techniques. Something with real heft to it, so you can be sure you're using proper technique.

Yeah. Not to be confused though, learning practical break falls is a useful skill. Judo is obviously the most common, but muay thai sweeps are a bitch, if you fall incorrectly you're fucked.

Aikido is basically just a standardization of various kata. Its "performative". Is it better than sitting around and doing a netflix marathon. Yes. But not by much.

I’m of the opinion that if you want to learn how to defend yourself in every day normal life, the best thing is to learn rudimentary boxing. How to take a punch, how to throw a punch and it builds cardio - that’s all you really need in most normal situations like a drunk belligerent guy at a bar or whatever.

Obviously if you want to actually learn how to be a good fighter, you need to train something else - but I don’t intend on fighting anybody and I haven’t got a fragile ego so I will de escalate tensions with drunk idiots rather than sweep their legs or anything retarded.

I know a couple people, friends of friends, who died in fights because they cracked their head on a curb. It’s easily done, you don’t wanna be the person who does it to someone because you can’t walk away.

Friend of a friend of mine in high school stabbed a kid in the chest with a tiny little 2” pocket knife during a scuffle. It ended up hitting the other kids heart valve and he bled out. At court the murderer said he stabbed the other kid because he didnt know how to fight and was scared he was gonna get beat up and didnt think the little knife would do anything major. Moral of the story is if youre gonna talk shit, learn to defend yourself properly before you get 25-life for some petty bullshit.
