Fawk, you're right. Shandies are beer + carbonated soda or lemonade. I think the Beastie Boys used the term for the same thing I call a ghetto mimosa. Might be an east/west coast thing.

To me, shandies come in cans but I don’t drink them so I’m not sure. I always assumed they were just talking about beer. It probably is OE. They rapped about it a lot. “Every day I drink OE and I don’t go to work.”
