I work at dozens of power plants. Its really not THAT uncommon that people shoot transformers. It takes a really high power rifle to penetrate it to actually shut it down. Sure 3 is a bit excessive but to find one shot isnt crazy. We find solar panels with bullet holes in them like twice a month.
