It’s honestly impressive, in some weird way, how little Norton has been able to develop on his own.

So much of his persona and vernacular is him either emulating or outright copying the peers who were far more successful than him.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he does this because he thinks that’s the type of shit that he needs to really blow up again. He’s always been so confident in his lackluster stand-up and knowledge of comedy, yet the crowds and spoils never reflected it because, you know…he sucks.

The DMAN has heard Ron argue for polar opposite opinions on the same topics over the years, usually to make the other person talk more.

Joe Derosa used to call Ron and ask him for advice, Ron would intentionally convince Joe to make a fool of himself for his own amusement. Derosa likely opened a sandwich shop because Ron was trying to tell him he's not a comic and should be in a deli.
