Most of the neighborhoods in the Upper Midwest have the same sort of generic look to them. I think it is mostly because of the severe weather they receive during the winter. Every house has to have vinyl siding and other weatherproof options.

Compare that to a place like Beverly Hills where every house on the block is in a different architectural style.

Do you ever wish our culture would finally move beyond niggers talking about ghettos? We pretty much know all there is to know about nigger ghettos, it's just not interesting
I remember when sites like Pitchfork would eschew actually intelligent hip hop to review the dumbest, most ignorant shit as if it was some Mamet-level commentary on the urban plight.

'Cause we keep knocking them down and building new ones but that's it, really.

I’ve never visited America. When I’ve looked at google maps of Ricks area, I think there’s something idealistic about tbphwy. And then I see this shit. Fuck that, I wouldn’t even want to drive through there. What a complete shit whole. They really live up to every stereotype
His neighborhood hasn’t been idealistic since WWII, you know before the Schwoogies moved in.

Does Milwaukee only have one look to every neighborhood? Every video just looks like Pat's block.
Most older cities were built up around the same time, so the archetectire is largely what was popular then.

Since it’s where I’m from I can tell you New Orleans wards all have their own stylistic approach, but the neighborhoods are pretty much the same. Uptown is full of two level four plex housing, the Garden District is full of stone mansions, Tremé is full of Shotgun houses, Faubourg is full of American Craftsman houses, The French Quarter is full of Creole townhomes, so on and so forth.

That’s how most major North American cities were developed.

I get that to some extent. I grew up in NYC and obviously there is/was a look to the buildings there depending on the borough. Living in L.A. there's always new property being built so it changes with the times but Milwaukee just has a particularly shitty, cheap, doll house kind of look to it from what I've seen which is mostly Happy Days and Pat's house.

Remember, Pat says he lives in a “desirable” neighborhood. Not So. Nobody has even desired to live in Milwaukee. Him and his wife don’t have jobs that require them to be in certain place but he’s in a mid west shit hole because they do what her mom says.
Also they don't make enough money lazing around to live anywhere else.

Whenever I see these hood tour videos, I think of all the hard-working white folks who built those neighborhoods from the ground up a hundred years ago. In 1928, my grandad built a house in Detroit. The last time I saw that house, it was covered in graffiti and looked like it had been set on fire at least a couple of times. If he had known that feral niggers would ultimately be squatting in his dream home, he probably would have stuck a pistol in his mouth and pulled the trigger.

Niki is from a desirable neighborhood, Brookfield is one of the rare places anyone would want to raise children in the area around Milwaukee.

Louis actually did an episode of his show in Milwaukee.

Here's an excerpt:

I like how Sedan's set up a merch stand where his brother (coup) De Ville died. "Dis a t-shirt, wid my brother's face on it. You know what's good for you, you better buy five"

(I made that car joke before finding out that yes, Sedan and Sylville were indeed named after Cadillacs by an illiterate idiot.)

EDIT: In the clip Lil' Pontiac is standing in front of a tree decorated in remembrance of his brother, Edsel; and he says he's never going to stop.

Then they got a four million dollar payout from the city, and the tree went back to normal, so I guess Pontiac was wrong.

Got the Schwoogie lottery win, and saved a tree. Good work.

At least he beat the monster and didn't abandon his daughter.
