If it's a mandatory part of the law that he has to pay Quasi's legal fees, how successful could he even be weaseling out of it, though? His Pat-headed stubbornness aside, if he gets a bill and refuses to even try to arrange a payment plan, what happens then? Does he get a warrant out on him? Liens on all his shit? While we've all borne witness to the ineptitude of our legal system, one area I'm sure there competent at is getting the money owed them.

I think since it’s such a large amount his refusal to pay will alert some high departments. If it was under 1000 bucks it would just get lost in the shuffle but being 24 grand I’m sure it will not go unnoticed.
