Actually, that's a great point. What exactly does a cover band get COMP'd that a touring band playing original music doesn't? I don't get his point here, but someone obviously said something about being a cover band and he got vurrry bent out of shape about it

I guess it is a technicality, musicians get their fee which and the venue pays enough to cover that and their rider / food / hotels whatever. They have to comp Joe because they don't pay him enough to stay in the hotel and eat. He got his fancy cruise comp'd as well but he nearly went broke.

Fucking ridiculous that he brags about such nonsense constantly.

Carol must cringe every time Joe whips out his camera because he needs to make a facebook post. It reminds me if this photo where they just got home and feels the need to take a pic and carol just heads into the house while joe dumps all his crap on the hood so he can take a pic for the upcoming " America in Distress" post.
