If the guy on the bottom had the same haircut and was in the same lighting and angle as the guy on top I wouldn't be able to tell their nationality apart. I don't know many details about the region, so far just some wikipedia. I know the Oromo and some others in Ethiopia and/or Eritrea were fighting a few years ago and I know the Derg because they're called the Derg.
