if i had to guess someone is probably just sideloading apps to the firestick and selling it even though you could do it yourself and you could do the same thing with something like an nvidia shield (which is probably better). if it includes live sports, then i would think they're sideloading an app on the firestick to access an iptv service, or it's an app accessing some random aggregate of streams that will go down at some point
