Gonna have to take a look at this, his episode of Larry Sanders is one of the best.
80’s Oliver Stone. I especially enjoy Bogosian’s rant towards his callers near the end.

“What’s wrong with you, why do you keep calling? I don’t want to hear anymore, stop talking. Go away!”

A rant I would love to hear radio DJs do these days

That character was based on a real DJ, including being killed at the end. Alan Berg was like Morton Downey Jr., but super liberal. He was assassinated by white supremacists who wanted to kill all Jews and send all blacks to Africa. Which I certainly do not condone, of course.
Guess who claims the story of TR was based on? Hoo Hoo

death the smoochy was great. didn't danny devito direct that one too? He's a good director. Hoffa watches pretty good
I remember my dad wouldn't let me watch Hoffa when I was a kid because of the part at the beginning where a dude gets set on fire. When I finally saw it I was like "that's it?"

Danny Devito is a good director though. I like his dark comedy shit like Throw Mama From the Train, Death to Smoochy and Duplex. I always thought he directed Drowning Mona too, which is an awesome movie, but he was a producer on it.

WWAW Talk Radio, with Bogosian getting gunned down by Rockets Redglare?

The Rocket Rosenthal would never do that. Eric Bogosian was good in Wonderland as Eddie Nash. Genuinely scary.
He was good as Nash, but Kilmer stunk as Holmes. Shave the fuckin beard and grow the stache.

Some claim Redglare, while selling dope to Sid Vicious, was the one who killed Nancy. I doubt it, but regardless, he was just a fatter Cumia. East coast crack smoking trash with a whore mother and criminal father.
