Jim Norton is the worst host I've ever seen

You mean the effort of him only being there 3-4 days on average. Or how when he was there the first 90 minutes he didn't say anything because he was writing two shitty books. Granted he made less money, but potato flakes, hat with gutters , toe triggers, Frederica bimmel, Susan Smith, lacey Peterson, abortion aids puddle.

His "funniest" character "ted" he stopped doing because it hurt his baby boy throat.

All that said, just to contradict myself, he did actually put in more effort then, but just by comparison.

Never forget that he had his friends do his job for free, and he got paid to not be there because Dopie and Tranthony stuck up for him against the geniuses E-Lo and Tom Chiasano

Jim is intimidated by anyone funnier than him who he doesn't know very well.

This was something that Norton would do on the show a lot. Any time a famous comedian from the past was brought up no matter who it was he would downplay them if they were not his favorite. Or if another comic would come on the show who was not an O&A comic he (and Anthony) would not laugh at their jokes. It was some weird passive aggressive feminine style power move. Like you are not part of the Cellar crowd so we will give you zero laughs or help.

But on the flipside it would give us great moments. Like if a guest came in and hated Norton's comedy style and would not laugh at Norton's jokes, he would get personally offended. Like the famous one with Chris Jericho where Norton was just killing with jokes and Jericho hated Norton's X-rated style of comedy and would not laugh at any of them. So someone brought up Christopher Reeve being in a wheelchair having a charity contest. And Jericho said no jokes about Reeve or cripple jokes, and Norton immediately said "yeah the contest he held was his third annual blink off". And Jericho immediately got all offended and acted like a little bitch and you could hear EVERYONE laugh at the joke because it was funny.

Norton also would go on air and rant when his standup shows or DVDs would get negative reviews. And once spent like an hour shitting on some reporter who gave Lucky Louie a negative review because of how insecure Norton was.
