He’s made more money than 99% of fighters by beating up old broken men. It’s wild.

He looks like a really good amateur boxer or a mediocre pro one and he’s been paid more than almost every world champion ever will. When he fought Tommy Fury, a younger bigger guy with a similar record he got schooled - why would he try that again when he can make way more beating up retired old men who have brain damage or spinal isssues?
I somehow doubt the purse is even real. The state of Texas does not require drug testing fighters nor a disclosure of the purse. NSAC even stopped doing that 4 years ago because Dana White is a cheap Jew and lobbied hard for it after the UFC was sold to Endeavor.

Jake’s reported purses have likely all been bullshit but he’s definitely made a fortune. I think he bought like a 15mil mansion recently.

This fight was a mini-IQ test. If you were excited about it beforehand, you have a double-digit IQ. I try not to belittle retards, but one of my co-workers walked into my office yesterday and made me have a fifteen-minute conversation with him about it so I let him know in the nicest way possible that he's a mark. I'm glad some of that co-worker's money went into Tyson's pocket.

You can say this about pretty much every boxing match though, to be honest.

I sometimes let myself buy into the hype just because it’s fun, though of course rationally I know it’s all bullshit for the most part.

The profit motive is the LAST thing on their mind when it comes to entertainment... Lotus Eating retard, don't question my d.d's I (semi-succesfully) tried to bring some of you up, y'all failed to bring me down to your levels.

So many global mega tech companies are pure bullshit loss making vapourware.

When you have publicly traded companies with the legal responsibility to only provide value for shareholders, you get incredible bullshit and wasted potential. Shareholders will destroy them as long as they exit with a profit in the short term.

Some are patently kept going despite never making any money because of nefarious actors who don’t care about bankrolling them indefinitely.

If you look into the CEO’s and top C suite people at gigantic corporations very few know anything about what the company ostensibly does.

We also have a population of financially illiterate people in unions, I’m not gonna dox my company but it’s huge and the union always distribute literature that highlights how much revenue it made and how unfair it is, because they know lots of idiots don’t understand revenue is meaningless. They literally post “we made 100 billion dollars last year! And all we want is an extra few bucks an hour!” and nobody seems to point out the cost of sales was 96 billion. (Random numbers because the real ones could easily ID who it is)
