David Chase is a miserable cunt who was so disturbed that people liked the Sopranos he had to destroy its legacy 15 years after it ended. I realized how much more I liked the show in the middle seasons when he seemingly wrote less of it.

The only good scene is the one where Johnny Boy comes home from prison to find that niggers have moved into the neighborhood while he was away. He immediately chastises junior for letting it happen. I thought it was funny that a movie about racial tension only used the word nigger once. David Chase doesn't know how to write black people it's bizarre.

I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt a little. I blame Hollywood jews and most modern actors being horrible than I blame Chase.

My theory is he wanted to make a movie about the Newark race riots from back in the day. The producers told him they won't fund it unless it has a Sopranos theme because they know Redditards will line up to hand over their money. I think chase said 'you want the Sopranos in it? Fine.' and he shit out this wet turd so he could snag one last payday before he croaks and leave a nicer package for his grandkids.

I think its apparent in the way the timeline between show and movie was so fucking lazy. You can critique his writing in the early and late portions of the series, but you can't deny that there was strict attention to detail on most plot points. In the movie they didn't even try. It was a fucking cash grab; I knew it was the whole time and went to the theatre to see it anyway. The only good part of the movie was the trailer, that suckered me in a bit. I could write another 3 paragraphs on that but I should actually do my job.
