Every Haitian I've been friends or neighbors or lovers with has been very Christian and family oriented and judged me for smoking weed and told me to stop. I've also eaten at their houses and restaurants and the food is so good, only thing is I don't like when they put goat in the legume I think it should be vegetarian.

We've had sizable Haitian communities in America for like 50 years and it wasn't like they went through a period where they needed to assimilate and learn to not sacrifice Fido to Moloch.

It's weird seeing right wing people shitting on Caribbean black people because they're the kind of scrappy bootstrap cultures that are raising their kids to be educated professionals. I've had Cubans tell me about eating cats. And they are white. I know being of European descent is not enough for white supremacists to consider someone white though so I'll leave it alone.
