Thats a discouraging track record.
I keep getting called a faggot for it but what else is new, I am a faggot. Regardless, I still have this feeling that he’s going to get away with it. I just know way too many people who owed way too much money that never paid it and got away with it.

Maybe I’m just used to dealing with Qtards and lefttards who constantly declare that something huge is coming just be patient. And everyone is still waiting years later.

They also like writing because there’s the possibility of a moonshot. You write one big hit and you’re the next JK Rowling, you get to instantly rocket to the top and shit on everyone else
Absolutely. And if they ever hit that shot, they deserve all the praise in the world. It’s not easy. It takes luck, but also hard work. Patrick will never hit that shot. Unless he changes who he is fundamentally, because his personality oozes out of his books. It’s not likable. It’s not entertaining. There are parts that are well done, and well written, but that’s not enough. If you were one of the, I’d say 20,000 to 40,000 rather talented authors who’ve never been published in our country, you’re not special.

That’s why I at least give him credit for getting the job done and getting published.

But even then… That’s not special.

There’s nothing special about anything he’s ever written. Nothing innovative, nothing big sky, nothing charming at all about the way he writes. His author’s voice is obnoxious. Even before we came along it was a constant in his reviews. He’s noticeably unlikeable.

How. How will he get away with it. Stop being vague. Nebulous retarded qanon dumb shit has nothing to do with this. Go through it specifically and explain the reasoning. You are basically saying you have a feeling. OK Based on what? the 5-10% debts that get collected. That's a good starting point but then you need to determine why they don't get collected and see if that situation applies here.

What Specifically is going to happen? Does he declare bankruptcy? I've explained what will happen. Does he try to sell? Can he sell it with a lien? Does he just stop paying and it forecloses? What happens then?

This is 1.7 thinking. What people do you know? How many? What were their circumstances? Did they post all their assets and spending on social media. Was it an actual judgment debt or just a regular debt? I'm betting you're talking about a few deadbeat friends you knew that owed like a couple grand in credit cards debts and maybe one of them had it go into a default judgment that they never responded to. In addition how many of them had a mortgage, two cars paid off? Did they live in a communal property state? What specific actions did the debt collectors try to do other than just calling and mailing letters? Did they go to court? Did they get served properly?

Explain exactly what the next 1-2 years look like. The next 5-10, 10-20. What specifically are the actions he can take to get away with it.

My gut is that Pig and Niki walk away from the house after not making a mortgage payment for about a year. This allows them to save up for a security deposit, along with first and last months rent in an upper-lower class apartment.

Niki’s credit will suffer, for sure. But Pig? His credit’s already fucked (my assumption). What’s he care? Free vacations! The fat man will portray it as a move to downtown and virtue-signal about the diversity of the area while proudly proclaiming that he doesn’t owe Quasi a penny, child.

He is beaten and mugged by urban youths shortly thereafter.

Book it.

I agree. Because of the court backlog it will take forever for them to be foreclosed and evicted.

Either that or Lynn will bail them out.

Because he will, adminchild. Based on the facts, adminchild. Specifically he will not pay a penny, adminchild. He will not declare anything, adminchild. He will not sell anything, adminchild. He can sell whatever he wants no matter the lien, adminchild. He is not facing foreclosure now or ever, adminchild. What happens then is you go to prison, adminchild. I know many people, adminchild. Very very many people, adminchild. Their circumstances were exactly like mine, adminchild. They did post their spending on social media, adminchild. It was an actual judgement debt, adminchild. They had a mortgage and many cars paid off, adminchild. They lived in a communal property state, adminchild. The debt collectors did nothing, adminchild. They didn't go to court, adminchild. And they were served properly, adminchild.

I remember reading during my research about pro se filing motions to quash, dismiss, and proceed anonymously that 99+% of people wishing to remain anonymous are those who are being sued for piracy, usually of pornography. They're embarrassed pirates, not anonymous multi-sink free-speech champion Chads like us trying to conceal their identities from the forces of evil.

In fact, that's apparently how many porn companies actually make their profits. They subpoena ISPs and then subpoena users demanding some amount (usually $900 - $1200 dollars) of restitution. They employ "settlement farms" populated by attorneys who are aces at coming off extremely strong in the initial stages, but are weak when it comes to actually fighting things out in court. They offer court-approved channels of settling anonymously out of court, and the courts really just want these cases flushed out of the system as fast as possible -- say "court" again.

Reportedly, these cases are EXTREMELY easy to beat if you contest them at all, even pro se, but the litigants virtually never spend the money to pursue the case if the defendant won't immediately settle anyway. It's all about coming on strong and bullying people into settling in the opening stages. Other than the defendants usually being guilty, it's highly comparable to how the lying dirtbag cocksuckers at Minc Law were operating: they know that no one they're accusing is really guilty, but they try to overwhelm people with their shotgun pleadings of defamation, tortious interference, intentional infliction of emotional distress, civil conspiracy, invasion of privacy, etc., to just bully people into complying under the looming threat of legal bills and lunatics getting their personal info.

So, you have to remember that countless companies that make pornography, video games, software, etc., have won tens of thousands of uncontested judgments that they never intend to pursue. It's just the aftermath of an unsuccessful attempt to wrest an easy settlement out of someone. It works often enough that they keep doing it.

Some company with a settlement farm attorney trying to cookie-cutter bluff their way to a settlement against John Doe 459 of 1100 after the subpoenaed IP numbers come back is VERY dissimilar to Quasi's situation.

Thank you for attending my TED Talk.

nigga what does just "walk away" from a mortgage mean lol? So the bank takes the house. they foreclose. Tank both their credit for a decade, have all their assets taken by the bank. They have to find and even worse shithole to live in now with no vehicles, no assets and have to pay rent in cash somewhere.... and then still owe quasi 50k + interest.

Sure, they can live on the run for 20 years never getting a job and living off welfare low enough to not be garnished.

Nice pyrrhic victory, stupid.

I understand where people are coming from with the inefficiency of the courts or whatever the fuck making it seem like it'll never happen, but modern society makes it pretty fucking hard simply to walk away from a hard asset like a house. Have you ever seen an abandoned house? It's safer to live outside.

The government knows this and they have a bunch of laws in place to ruin your life if you try to hide. They have no interest in taking responsibility for some fat woman's shitty, abandoned duplex because her husband got cockslapped with a stupidity tax via the US court system. So until the property is foreclosed upon or they sell it or file bankruptcy or whatever the fuck, they're on the hook.

This all makes perfect sense, by the way. They fucking bought the piece of shit, it's their fucking problem until it's not. That's what ownership is - it's ownership of the risk / reward. That means they need to pay the taxes, pay the insurance, keep it up to code, keep it from falling apart, and keep it locked up so no one dies in it until it becomes someone else's problem.

And all of that happens before the lien.
