'member when the initial lolsuit was discovered, a bunch of us started to delete accounts?
I was high on stimulants the night that thread got posted, and I shamefully will admit I got paranoid for a brief moment afterwards.

Thank god Patrick has assured me that I am not being sued and that suing was never the goal.

It's a shame that thread wasn't archived. There was some rib busters in there

Coincidence, as was I. I got paranoid, even though at the time I barely posted, and deleted my account. *because I’m a bitch

I really hope this isn't like the Google quash where it takes almost a year just to get the ball rolling. Btw, archiving this just in case. Pat once again admitting that his lawsuit was frivolously filed and intended to doxx people (rather than to seek relief from the court).

Been 3 weeks and no changes to the WIcourts case page and 37 days since the 15-day appeal deadline expired following the Jan 6 filing.

Is there any way to find out just how much the courts are backed up? Wish we knew some kind of timeline of the collection process. Judges still milking COVID for all it's worth even now. Are we looking at another 1 month or 10 months until the next big update, and when this judge finally looks at it, will it just be further pushing it back?

I'm in the same spot where I'm worried that it'll be 16 months until the judge skims the case for two minutes, then schedules a hearing for 16 months later to decide when to schedule the debtor exam, and then at that hearing schedules the debtor exam for another 16 months after that hearing and when that date finally roles around, Patrick says he needs more time to sort out his assets and finds more ways to push it back further.

At this rate Rick will be able to keep ignoring it for another 4-5 years before even acknowledging the attempted collection and will die of a heart attack in a decade from now with successfully having avoided both paying Quasi and going to trial for his racially-motivated homicide of my boy Bernell.

this search lists all the Foreign Judgements domesticated in Milwaukee during 2022, maybe you draw make some inference from their calendar of events but they're all "Filed only" except one so I dunno

edit: can't directly link the search results page but you can filter by Milwaukee + case type FJ + range 0 to 99999

Fucking christ that's bleak. Snail's-pace faggot courts. In that one exception you mention it was a case filed in error in mid-November, still took the judge until Jan 31 to close it. Not a single foreign judgement filed in 2021 or 2022 has been addressed yet whatsoever and are still sitting as "filed only" like Pat's. Only just 3 judgements from 2020 have had hearings so far.

The most recent FJ action by the court was Milwaukee County Case Number 2020FJ000017 MIDWEST GAMING & ENTERTAINMENT, LLC D/B/A RIVERS CASINO vs. STEVEN PUSCHING et al., over a guy who with a $67,600 debt to a casino who are trying to collect. They filed on May 8 2020 and just had their hearing on Jan 24 2023. The conclusion of the hearing was:
"Amended Motion for Judgment Against Garnishee. On the agreement of the parties, they will collectively re-draft the scheduling order and submit it to the Court under the 5 day rule extending all deadlines. The next date in this matter is 04/27/2023 @ 09:00 a.m. for a Motion Hearing via ZOOM before the Honorable Judge Lindsey Grady, Branch 23."

If indeed in for the long haul on this collection I'd throw some money in if Quasi had a public BTC address, and stuff like another Christmas Carnage could bring in some shekels if nessesary. The yearly interest is nice but with Pat sipping milkshakes in Arizona right now or wherever he is I still hope to see him forced into the courtroom (or jail) sooner than later. I knew the court backup would be bad but not this bad.

can it really be that bad or is an unopposed filing enough to take some out-of-court action (with the sheriff's office) and they don't need courts to do much in most cases?

I want to believe there's a better explanation I dunno

My lawyer buddy just told me there’s a huge shortage of judges in his state. They’re widening the eligible age range to try to fill the gap but the backlog is already huge.

He was saying he heard of a guy who can’t finalize his divorce that was filed in 2021. I guess they closed the courthouse it was being heard in because they don’t have any judges there anymore so it’s just stuck in the ether until the local legal system figures it’s shit out.

In other words, he’s stuck paying his and his ex wife’s attorney fees until it gets transferred and then moves through the huge backlog.

Point is that it could be a similar situation in WI. The civil court system moved at a snails pace even before Covid, now they have judge shortages to compound the giant backlogs.

Of course this all amounts to Patrick continuing to not pay while Jerry Jen continues to bill. In the end, the amount is going to be astronomically higher than it is right now and Patrick’s day of reckoning will be exponentially worse. The government literally does not give a single fuck about anyone who gets buttfucked by their inefficiency so they’ll tell Patrick to shut his snout and pay the full amount.

that’s a long winded way to say the machine works, even if it’s slow. So trust the process, trust Jerry Jen, and trust the United States of America.

If Rick so desired, could he contact Jerry Jen on his own to set up some sort of payment plan? I know he won't because he's fat and stupid but paying 45k is better than paying 60-80k because you let the courts fuck off for a year or two.
100%. At the end of the day, Jerry is tasked with collecting the judgment on behalf of his client. I would bet my life savings that he'd be happy to sit down with Patrick and come up with a plan that works for both sides as long as both parties are reasonable. I highly doubt Jerry wants to spend any more time working on this than is absolutely necessary.

I'm sure it'd save everybody a lot of time, money, and headaches if they were able to negotiate some arrangement in good faith.

That being said, Patrick would probably push for something insane like $1 a month and then refuse to negotiate so it'd end up being a gigantic waste of time.

I don't want to speak for our fearless leader, but I think that ship may have sailed thanks to Patrick's "it's my way or the highway" negotiation style.

It's one of pat's fatal flaws. He can't recognize a win from a loss. He has no deep game. It's like playing chess with some who sacrifices bishops for pawns. To him, he still took a piece from you not realizing that you're playing book moves he's never even heard of.

I’d seriously think about killing her and the attorneys.
