I fell awkwardly as hell on the ice last night and fucked my leg up bad. I initially thought I broke it but there's definitely some kind of torn ligament or something. I can barely fucking move today. Is this like an I-need-to-go-to-the-hospital thing or will it eventually just unfuck itself?

I can walk on it but it hurts like fuck. I've been using a fucking cane today like an old jamoke. And yeah, the lateral part is the worst. The pain is on the outside of my knee and goes down the side of my leg into the bottom of my foot. I've taken way worse falls and had nothing happen. The last time I fucked my other knee up I overextended it just stepping off a scaffold but it fixed itself after a while of limping like a bitch and sliding down the stairs on my ass.

Yeah, that certainly sounds like a ligament. It happened to me when I was 40 and 250 pounds jumping off the back of the truck. I had done it a million times but this time my knee bent outward a little bit and definitely strained some thing. I didn’t need to go to the doctor, thankfully. It still took like months to stop hurting though.
