Norton definitely made a lot of tranny jokes during the WNEW years. Also jokes about hookers pissing and shitting on him. I remember his first couple of appearances he needed to be schooled on FCC safe lingo and they had to come up with phrases like "yellow discipline" or "oral treats" or whatever. Like how Jackie Martling invented all of the codes for the staff to use on air to avoid the FCC bombarding the Stern Show with fines. Even though the fines were dirt cheap back then the license being threatened was the real issue. And you didn't want your show pulled when you had a syndication deal as the annual payout for shows like Stern or O&A were in the millions each year for the hosts.
Norton told a story on WNEW about him banging a tranny prostitute in the ass. I think he told the same story again once on XM and added the detail that it was in the back of a car. And he would tell stories of his hooker obsession on WNEW as well like how he would pick up street walkers. When they got on XM it wasn't even the second month (week?) before he told the Monster Rain story on O&A. From there he began talking a lot of about his going to massage parlors to get handjobs or blowjobs. And then talking about regularly getting hookers or dominatrices. And other sordid tales of rape and degeneracy. By the end of the show he would make a weekly reference to some deranged activity from his personal life. Or talk about his 'sex addiction' on his advice show or whatever.

Norton is a liar and a worm. A lot of his stories are tall tales or entirely lies. "Chip evolved". "I was a hardcore drug user and drinker". My guess is that Norton always had sex with men and that his stories on air of encounters with women are just him re-imagining them as hookups with the opposite sex to make them more palatable for the O&A audience. Same with a lot of Anthony's early sexual experiences from his childhood where he talked about having girlfriends and regular intercourse but occasionally would let it slip out that his best friend was a sodomite, offered to blow him, and died of AIDS.
All guys lie about how often they get laid. Stern was notorious for exaggerating his sexual prowess with his 'tears' through women. Yet Stern fans did a timeline on his dating life from high school to today and found that he probably lost his virginity to his first wife, then slept with every actress on the set of Private Parts, then hooked up with Beth, then publicly got divorced. No time for him running some nonstop orgy through Hollywood. Someone found that every single person Howard dated publicly during his separation years were Don Buchwald clients. And that he had met Beth before his divorce was made public. But you need to keep up appearances for your audience.
Norton still to this day hides his homosexuality. He is living with a shemale prostitute and everyone knows it who is a hardcore O&A fan as the information spread all over various forums and social media. His comedian friends have joked about it. But Norton doesn't want his current fanbase of truckers on Sirius to hear him be an open faggot. He is paranoid about alienating his audience. Same with Anthony and the whole Sue Lightning thing. They know that it would basically remove them from having any chance of old school O&A fans ever giving them that attention and praise that they crave.
