Democracy has given enfranchisement to everyone and they've used that power to give societal authority to people they find the most attractive, funny, charismatic, or appeared in a product they like. There's a tiny thin line between messiah worshipping Hollywood people and who they choose as elected representatives.

Not saying there's an 100% correct way to govern society, but I think monarchy or vastly excluding big decisions to the elite was a lot closer to the truth than whatever the fuck we do now.

It's actually enfranchised no one. It's only given everyone the illusion of choice and control. The powers that be promote their own candidates and people. No one independent can approach a career in politics or show business anymore. You must be deeply connected to people already established. At this point only career politicians and connected billionaires are allowed into national politics. And all of them are slaves to AIPAC and jews. I don't even believe that the votes have ever been counted let alone this past election.

This is bleeding over into sports as well, as hardly anyone has the time to risk a career in something like athletics when you will have no more income to support you for food and rent. So the only people getting into sports as kids or young adults are people from rich families who can afford to supplement their children playing games instead of working. No one young can take a risk chasing a dream career if it will permanently doom them to eternal bankruptcy. They have to be wage slaves doing the wage slave dance at Walmart.

And no one in social authority is really attractive or charismatic. Biden is a ancient fool and idiot. Trump was ugly, bald, orange, and crass and inarticulate. Hollywood stars are now hideously ugly as well. With troons and obese weirdos dominating pop culture. The average news reader has gone from model hot to repulsively grotesque.

Even people like Margot Robbie or Taylor Swift that should be natural 10s are filled with botox and implants and will end up looking monstrous by the time they hit 40.

Yeah well an entertainment commodity is a lot different than a political one. In entertainment you want to sell product, so putting her front and center is an attempt to do so. In politics, the goal is more to rile people toward specific behavior using heel heat.

I might have heard one of her songs on the radio before, but I'm not aware of it and have no idea what a single one of them is called or how they go. Now I'm hardly the arbiter of what constitutes popular music, but you'd think this wouldn't be possible with such a famous "artist." The average dickhead should be able to name at least 3 of their "hits."

This is because radio and MTV are dead. Who listens to radio anymore instead of their own CDs, mp3 player, phone, and so on? This is why these popular entertainment groups go so hard at getting their songs into soundtracks of popular shows or movie franchises. As those places are better for getting people to discover new music. You want to get heard by a large audience you don't go for radio anymore. You license your music to crap like The Walking Dead or Euphoria.

I can't remember the last time I listened to any music that wasn't from my own collection or was the background song of a scene in a movie or television show. In the 80s and 90s I probably heard a new hour or two of music every week if not every day sometimes. Now I have no use for radio anymore and would rather just listen to my own 40+ year collection of songs.

My wife always has the same radio station on in her car, not usually very loud, but always on in the background. She never switchs it off before turning the car off either, which is kind of annoying. She doesn't usually lock it either, so every couple of years her battery will be flat for "no reason." Anyway, I can whistle you a Miley Cyrus song, or One Direction or even that Billie Eilish munter, but no idea about TS

Not just the big names but most creative positions too. Rich faggots and jews own hollywood and the music business, so they just throw their kids and friends into the ring because they're extremely enviable careers. Who cares if it's shit?
