seeing as revisionists are the only ones who write history, I'm going forward that "Juneteenth" started during the slavedays mocking an uneducated slave who was asked what day it was

My cousin works at an Amazon warehouse. He told me that yesterday when they came back from break everybody started stretching during announcements like normal until the manager said "Wait folks, don't stretch during announcements, we have something special planned today." After announcements were done like 3 or 4 black people got up. The nigress said, "Happy Juneteenth, y'all! WOO!" and one of the black dudes said "Now follow along as we do a swag circle." This basic ass crunk came on and they started dancing side to side and everyone was to join in. Apparently they kept saying "Stay limber, y'all!"
Now, I have nothing against the blacks, but these shame rituals will not stand.

My favorite thing to listen to a few years ago was white people acting like they knew what Juneteenth was and had heard of it before. "Ah, what happened on that date?" was enough to stump 99% of them while acting sincerely interested. Meanwhile my black coworker was like "I've never heard of this shit" and said it must be some Southern black thing.
He should try to organize the white folxs there to do a "we are we are Amazon"
