He was convicted on maliciously masking payments as legal fees, when in actuality, those payments needed to be recorded as campaign funds as this was during his campaign and the payments were made to keep the story out of the news in order to influence the election.

If Trump had made these payments back when it happened or ever before he ran, it wouldn't be as big of an issue as it's become.

Call me naive call me whatever. I trust the law and courts. We can argue about Trump / Hunters crimes being minor paperwork shit. We can argue about the judges in their trial. We can argue about the DA’s in their trial. We can argue about if anyones been charged like this before.

It doesn’t matter. The law is the law. Did he break this law? The answer for both is yes. Can you say this will impact the election? Of course it’s 2024. But its not MADE for the election, only happening during it.
