I've been to several and Brotha Joe puts on a great show. Another benefit if you're into mature women, is they're usually a meet market.
Brotha Joe loosens them up and gets them on the dance floor and makes it easy for you to swoop in and take them home

I actually have been, but not by choice. I was having dinner with some friends at a dockside restaurant on Long Island south shore a few years ago and Mr. Salty arms was playing his guitar and lowly warbling in front of his guitar case. I made a point of standing in front of him, taking all the change out of my pocket, taking the quarters out, and throwing all the dimes nickels and pennies in his case. Mercifully, he stopped playing shortly after the appetizers arrived so everyone could enjoy their entrees.

I saw 2U at some free concert in the park kind of thing in this one town I used to live near back in the subreddit days. Crowd was of decent size and pretty receptive but then again you could have put anyone up there. Most people were there because it was free, outside, and 95% of them had kids so it was a spot for them to run around while the parents sat and drank.
But Joe was the star of the fawkin show, doing all the talking. Not sure if Gene Marchello was playing Bono. Was decent show, but I was having a few roooad sodas
