So you work for a shitty company who did it for the wrong reasons. Your one example that you lived, you clearly have based your opinion on that experience. What happened to you isn't the all-enveloping answer.

Whatever you do might be expedited through working from home. That ain't the case in every industry. You have to consider the security aspect as well. They want everything you're doing to be on their network so they can track their own companies activity. They can control what you have access to from home, but they have no idea what you're doing on the side and what you do with that information. If you are a leader in any industry especially one with fierce competition, you have to know that certain good stuffs all secret-like. Can't do that when your little office monkeys, people you interview in whats essentially a fucking Chaturbate room, are in their pajamas snapping pictures of peoples personal information. STUPID

That said,I tend to agree with any sentiment that is anti-boomer, so I take that back, and go fuck myself.

In my experience the only places offering it are using it to attract people because they can’t compete financially, but if they make it and become a big company, they’ll stop it again. Capricious boomer management and HR infects all companies.

Boomers literally snitch on colleagues for being on their phone and stuff. They jsut want to spread misery and it’s also because remote working scares them because they can’t hide behind all their tech incompetence by saying they’re “old school”
