Have you ever disowned or been disowned by a relative?

Not long after I helped one of my sisters get through a really tough time in her life, I found out she had been lying to me about some pretty important shit. Instead of apologizing, she went into full-on evil female attack mode so I told her to never contact me again. Five years later, her husband inherited fifty million dollars. It's a tough one, man. On one hand, I'm glad I don't have to deal with the bitch. On the other hand, it's always good to have someone in your contacts list who has that kind of money.

Was there no sign of him possibly inheriting that money? You should have hedged your bets.

I always thought having a family was a "seedy" experience. I mumble to myself about the "darkness" (or what I perceive to be such) of my family but then when I interact with them they're all boring assholes just like everyone else. All I can think is "well what was all that darkness for then?"

I always assumed if my female relative's men came into big money the money would be kept between them and the man's family. This isn't my cope for being too afraid to ask. Just trust me okay.

There were definitely signs. My sister talked about it for twenty years before her rich mother-in-law finally dropped dead. I think she'd still help me out if I was in a really bad spot financially, if for no other reason than to lord it over me.

Her husband is a total pushover. She has access to all the money even though they're now separated and live in different states. From what I hear, she's completely miserable these days living in a big house all by herself. If I had it to do over again, I wouldn't have "disowned" her not to possibly get a taste of that money, but to make family gatherings a little less awkward. Now that she lives a 1,000+ miles away from any other family members and doesn't get along with my dad, that's not an issue anymore.

A cousin is out of the family for basically being a nigger. His dad died and the first thing he did was rummage through his wallet for his benefits card then dropped it when he was told it wouldn't even work anymore since it belongs to a dead man. On the day of his father's funeral he decided to do a show instead (he's a no-name rapper who talks about positive shit). Then he has the gall to performatively whine on Facebook about how he misses his dad. So yeah he's a piece of shit, fuck him, hope he dies penniless like he deserves.

No wonder you disowned him, nothing more disgusting than a positive thinker.
Sister, her woke ideology told me I needed to see a therapist for my non woke ways so I responded by sending a bunch of Nicocado Avocado spread asshole pics, she won't go to family functions if I'm there now
She thinks you need to go to therapy when you're clearly a fan of the world's gayest youtuber.

When my grandmother died two of my aunts pulled some grimey shit on my dad and my other aunts. Them and all their faggot offspring are dead to the rest of us. I never thought I'd be like that but family members dying really brings a fucked up evil greed out of some people that makes me fucking sick. It's always exactly the people you'd expect too.

The only person in my family that was disowned was my one cousin. After her parents died she thought her brother was hiding money from their inheritance and she tried to kill him or tried to get someone to kill him for her so she could get the money he thought he was hiding. Other than that nothing interesting.
Disowned or put in prison?
