Can you folks really sit through a series anymore, so much filler episodes that do nothing
No. When you watch older shows like Sopranos, Oz, The Shield, Vice Principals, Eastbound, you can see how tight the pacing is compared to modern shows. Every single episode is its own movie in quality. Also older shows on HBO were made without commercials in mind. Now every single show is shot for ad tier streaming garbage and have tons of scenes clearly shot to introduce an ad break or come back from a commercial.

The Dark Crystal sequel series, Age Of Resistance.

A curse upon Netflix for not only cancelling it, but also destroying the puppets & sets and hanging on to the IP so no-one else can continue it on-screen until or unless they say so. The story is consigned to rubbish books, comics & games indefinitely, now.

What I love about it is how it's much darker, bleaker and more messed-up than some assume or give credit. not afraid to venture into big complicated uncomfortable themes. At root, it was about an organised authoritarian-ordered genocide, that must have an unhappy ending if the prequel/original movie still makes sense as canon. Not a kids' show, even if it does have cute elfy puppets living in a hippy fantasy land.

Seladon is my favourite character, she's completely insane and she had her reasons.

This guy jerks off to the girl puppets.

Check out ZeroZeroZero, it's just 8 episodes so it never goes to shit. Its about the cocaine trade and has three different narratives from buyer, smuggler, producer. Cartel violence, mafia drama, international smuggling.

24 watch pretty good. It shows the resiliency of America to get nuked 7 times in 10 years and always come back stronger than ever each time

I watched The Americans a while back and I think that was pretty good

I actually got Netflix just so I could watch the Making Of-documentary of this show since it was not available for piracy anywhere online.

The docu was mint tbf, really fascinating to see how The Creature Shop created such an immersive world with props essentially. Jim Henson Co. are pfg, even if they did inflict Elmo upon the world.

The show itself is now on archive.org for free download in hq, if you still needed or wanted to see it.
