I preferred Minus One over Shin Godzilla, but both are worth watching if you’re a fan.

I recommend Colossal.

I've heard great things about Minus One, but have not watched it yet.

Shin Godzilla was supposed to be good, though.

Shin was great but that's what you'd expect when Hideaki Anno is making it. My favourite Godzilla films are probably Destroy All Monsters, Destoroyah and Hedorah but they don't really fit what Professor Rape is asking for.

Godzilla likes a lot of things: nuclear energy. Destroying Japan. Destroying Tokyo. Destroying any expectations that the Americans can make a decent film adaptation with him (they cannot).

Know what Godzilla doesn't like?

Rape. That automatically makes him a better being than Anthony Cumia.
