So like, I halfway follow this nonsense to fuck with pat, and none of this now spiderman shit makes sense. Like, if they erased all memory of Peter Parker being spiderman then why would known characters be at the grave for Aunt may? They only knew her because they knew Peter Parker.

The writing on these superhero movies, I dare say, fucking stinks.

The thing is, Spiderman was conceived as a working class superhero. Peter has to save the day, but also needs to come up with rent, and find the money to treat MJ, greedy whore that she is. That was handled well in the Raimi movies.

The MCU completely did away with the economic dilemma by making baby Peter Tony Stark's buttboy. Though the first baby Spiderman movie took that in an interesting way with the father-son relationship Tony and Peter had. But now there is no where to go with that now that Tony is dead. So the second movie had a summer field trip through Europe, but only for the main characters, which is certainly a thing schools do.
