Great female comedians

Maria Bamford.

She's the only one I can unironically say made me laugh the past 15 years. But of course she is 100% Padded-Cell Crazy in real life.

They can be good at comedic acting, but they mostly suck at stand up.

This is something I've said for years and I'm glad someone else noticed it. I can watch all the old MadTv girls and fucking howl laughing at the skits...but when they take the stage and are "themselves"...the funny just fades away. What's the deal with that?
