Dan, "fugazie" [sic] is a reference to the 1997 film Donnie Brasco, in which it features prominently as an Italian-American slang word for counterfeit and spurious merchandise, and as a synonym for "[a] fake" in general. O&A quoted that movie once or twice, probably.
