Imagine if some niggas from the hood in Milwaukee start adopting the "Hakuna Matata" song...and it becomes a cultural ceremonial ritual to sing it, with its own costumes etc. Nobody else sings it but that distinct group of Hood Niggas from Milwaukee. Would that make the Hakuna Matata song not a white thing? It's performative "exotic ethnic", but feels fake.

That's literally what the Haka stuff is. It just smells so fake and White.
