Every Peacock show is terrible. The new Bel-Air should have been nothing more than a Youtube joke. They also brought back Saved by the Bell, because everyone wants to see their favorite teen stars go through middle age. Oh and don't forget about that detective show with the frumpy Jew from Orange is the New Black with smoker's voice.

I was going to watch the new version of Quantum Leap, until I saw the episode that week was called "Let Them Play" and about transgender people in girls sports. That show was cancelled after 31 episodes. Can't imagine why.

I like how they tried to get Scott Bakula back and he told them to fuck off because he was just going to be a glorified cameo. A shame since if he’d had a more substantial part, I may have been interested.

They did a Run DMC documentary recently and of course they made Jam Master Jay look like this amazing and loving guy that was gunned down for no reason. Then right after it came out his murder was finally solved and turns out it was over him being involved with drug trafficking and he had decided to cut someone out of a deal so they killed him. Oopsie Doodles!

I remember an interview with Shatner years ago where he said for those Priceline company that he did commercials for they gave him a good amount of company stock since they were new and it wasn’t worth much so he sold it early on. Now the stock is a part of BKNG and worth over 3k a share. He said if he had held onto it he wouldn’t have to keep doing all these conventions.

Girls5Eva was on Peacock and it's the funniest show of the last few years. It's basically 30 Rock but about a one hit wonder girl group from the 90s that reunite after a rapper sampled their song. Netflix bought it so now it's on there.

Yeah I think he got rid of it when it like jumped to maybe 10 or 15 bucks a share and started to go down thinking “well, it’s a profit” since they gave it to him as part of his payment because they weren’t making much money at the time to even afford him. I think he said “if I didn’t sell my shares early I wouldn’t have to still be doing things like Star Trek cruises!“

He was so upset about it he wouldn’t even say how many share they gave him because then you could do the math on how much he lost out on.

The best Shatner story is when they were going to film Star Trek V he agreed to film it only if he could pick who the director was. They said ok. He then chose himself as director and refused to entertain any other choice, despite his only directing experience being a few episodes of the TV show. And the only reason he wanted this level of control was because Nimoy ended up directing the 3rd and 4th Star Trek films. And of course V was a massive flop.

He fucking loves the conventions because everyone praises him and kisses his ass. He’s the King at those.
