that tattoo was so popular for guys back in the late 90s / early 200s - if you have any kind of “Barb wire” type bicep tattoo you’re at least 40. Popularity wise it was the tramp stamp for men.

One of my friends growing up had an older brother and he had that Barb wire tattoo and he was a big weightlifter / kickboxer / mma type so it fit his look.
