I never understood why people liked Sammy Hagar-era Van Halen. It was so obviously inferior and gay, yet they still sold a fuck ton of records. Hagar seems like a decent enough guy, but he stinks.

I was always more of a Gary Cherone man, myself.I never understood why people liked Sammy Hagar-era Van Halen. It was so obviously inferior and gay, yet they still sold a fuck ton of records. Hagar seems like a decent enough guy, but he stinks.
One of the most misunderstood bands ever, and not in a good way. How many meat headed retards were cranking the Rage jams and rapping along with the tedious radical leftist shtick that flew right over their heads? I liked Downset better anyhow, they kept it real.Rage is easily the biggest faggot band of all time. Their fans are either dumb rednecks who do not understand they're listening to a liberal band or fake-communists in training middle class nobodies who would be killed instantly if there ever was a communist revolution.
Rage's simping for Castro in Cuba is beyond embarrassing.
The first Motley Crue record was legit good, and the second one was not without its charms. But everything after that was pap. And Bon Jovi is an obvious one. It was easy to see why people liked them when they first came along, as they were the essence of panty-moistening hair/coke rock, 80s style. But their staying power is just inexplicable. I could see them doing the club circuit like Skid Row or somebody like that, but they were still playing arenas and stadiums years after the fact.Motley Crue
Bon Jovi, specifically Jon Bon Jovi
Don’t understand how they’re so highly rated. I can’t get through one of their songs.I think Rush is gay as fuck.
Late 70's through early 80's Dave trainwreck era was a totally different band than the Hagar years and a lot of fun to watch. The US Fest tapes are hilarious. I'm a Dave era fan but I can't shit on Hagar for being able to perform coherently and consistently during his time.I never understood why people liked Sammy Hagar-era Van Halen. Bon Jovi is still selling that shit out. And they never really had a down period like so many of their peers. It's baffling. Jon, like Vince, can't sing for shit anymore, but all the old gals like to go hear him sing half of every song. One of the most misunderstood bands ever, and not in a good way. That made me really hate them for just how large their egos are to believe every Apple user would be thrilled to have their new album which was really shitty, I don’t think they even play any songs from that album live anymore. Not even their fans liked it! I’m glad it went down as one of worst ideas / blunders in music history.

Perfect description of them. They are like the Ben and Jerrys of music.
They did surf music for like 4 years, listen to any of my earlier links and see how wrong you were.Beach Boys is boomer surf music garbage and Pet Sounds is the most insanely overrated album in history.
Nice helmet hair, fucking faggot.
The best John Lennon solo song wasn't even that good until it was covered after he died.I vastly prefer George Harrison’s solo music over Paul’s and John’s. I like a few of each of their songs but most of it is boring. Imagine is easily one of the faggiest songs of all time.
They made faggot surf music then pivoted to plodding, overproduced garbage. Brian Wilson's voice is annoying enough on its own. To then dub it into a 20-part wall of sound harmony should have been punishable by death.I vastly prefer George Harrison’s solo music over Paul’s and John’s. Since you mentioned him, Wings. Band on the Run is one of the worst songs in rock history. I don't understand how you go from Let it Be to that in a few years.
I'll add a few:
Journey
Motley Crue
Bon Jovi, specifically Jon Bon Jovi
Virtually anything in the Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin vein.
Zappa is great you uncultured swine.Frank Zappa. Exhausting.

a. I don't believe it, but I want to believe the "Carol Kaye played bass on TFFL" conspiracy theory because the mental image is hilarious. The first Motley Crue record was legit good, and the second one was not without its charms. But everything after that was pap.
