I remember when I was a kid talking to my friends like "when we're old we'll probably be in a nursing home playing Xbox and calling eachother "dude". I wish old people just acted like my grandparents and adults acted like my parents. I'm so goddamn sick of hearing new slang words. If a word didn't exist 20 years ago, don't use it.

Right? I think a lot of parents try to be best friends with their kids and instead of trying to elevate their kids up to their own level, they dumb themselves down.

I remember one time when I was 15 or 16, I made my dad take me to GameStop. I was looking for about 5 minutes and out of nowhere he flips the fuck out.

“JUST PICK SOMETHING SO WE CAN GET OUT OF HERE. I HATE THIS PLACE.”

Anyways, he spent the entire car ride home ranting about the importance of decisiveness and how he hates people who can’t make decisions and hates video games. Looking back, it was hilarious and pfg
