Over here most of the former have found Reform UK and the latter are split between Labour and Greens, with Greens encompassing the worst of the left imo, trust fund activists who would never suffer financially from their batshit ideas. Ironically they probably have the most in common with the Tories, since they are all from rich families and are totally out of touch with the real world.

Reform are a joke too. Nige is good at one thing: picking a single issue to split the right wing vote, Tories panic and offer what Nige wants, Nige disappears before it all goes to shit. no, that logic makes no sense. You're confusing internal and external critiques of a position and swapping them. You're going from an external critique of "its stupid to compare a presidential candidate in the US to hitler", and then trying to do an internal critique of "that hilter rhetoric lead to violence". But that's not assuming the axioms of the internal position. The internal critique would need to find a contradiction internally to the logic of the other side. Which you're not doing.
