Why is it always the shittiest teachers that cry about this?
I think they really buy into “WERE THE IMPORTANT PEOPLE, WE TEACH THE KIDS!” When you’ve got schools that are pretty much daycare for teenagers. My cousin’s son is in like 7th grade I think and he told me most of his female teachers just complain to the students about their life problems. I guess it’s cheaper than therapy.

Why is she paying 400 dollars a month on a car if she makes that much money?

Typical teacher. Total retard.
To be fair due to inflation being so high that’s actually prob a low car payment compared to everything else. I think that’s under the current average - of course everybody wants to be 300 a month no money down on any car they want. It’s actually cheaper now to get a new car since you can get rebates and banks give lower rates to new over used.

I clicked on a random TikTok of hers and it’s her unboxing Brooks running shoes to which she says “did I need new running shoes, no, but I saw the opportunity”. Poverty
It’s drives me nuts they don’t require students to take personal finance related classes. Shit like compound interest, budgeting, balancing, investing, living in your means etc.

I guess that kind of required teaching in high school would prob make more kids learn a trade over taking out huge loans to go to college to earn a degree that doesn’t pay shit. That’s the real scam of higher education, you got kids coming out with 60-100k in debt with a degree for a job that will only pay 35-45k a year if that. That’s why young people are all about cancelling student debt, they were never told what they’re paying for in education won’t be able to pay your debts.

Even the stigma of “living at home” into your late 20s is very different from what it used to be. If you were that age and still at home it meant you were a lazy unemployed bum, now you got people working pretty good jobs but everything is so expensive they have to live at home to save up.

When I made shit money I bought shit terrible cars in cash and prayed they didn’t break down before I could afford another.

I didn’t get into car payments till I had stable income that would justify it.

I get it’s not fair for young people now, but don’t shoot your self in the foot regardless. She doesn’t need that SUV. Get a used Honda till you make more.

In a way I almost envy how simple her life is (or could be if she was smart). Id just get a older civic, a decent apartment until I can afford a small home, load up the fridge with chicken breast, vegetables and some cheap beer. She would still have over half her paycheck left over with that. People like her are fucked if they don’t manage to marry someone rich

Oh I know, she prob had to have some real nice car to show off to people she thinks she has to impress. I just had seen something on the news recently about how inflation has made even used cars too expensive. When I sold cars you would be shocked how many people just think they can be 300-350 a month no money down on a 48-52k car. That’s why so many car salesman drink / do lots of drugs - you have to explain simple math to people all day. I don’t a car payment right now and holy shit I’m glad since inflation has fucked everything up.

Most people think when inflation goes down it means prices fall, when obviously it means it’s growing less sharply.

Most people are retarded because they’re taught by people like this teacher. We can’t do basic math as a nation anymore.

These are the types that have to have Starbucks / Dunkin coffee everyday. I know it’s a bit of a hack thing to say but that shit ads up, same with eating out / going out. Plus so many of these types believe they “deserve” a fancy vacation every year.

Very true about the math, like I said you’d be shocked how many people couldn’t believe they couldn’t be 350 a month on a 50k vehicle with no money down (they never want to do that!) and also trading in a car they still owe 15k on that is only worth 11k. Always fun to explain what “negative equity” means to someone. But it’s the salesman that are the scumbags! (Not saying there isn’t scumbag sales guys but this was when we would get shit from angry people because we made them feel stupid for not understanding basic math)

I know a girl who asked if her mortgage would go down to reflect the new lower house price.

We’re so resolutely fucked.
