You don't have to eat egg whites to have a good diet. It works for me, but there are other good proteins out there. Fuck, you don't even have to macro, but again, it works great for me.

thats the thing, I really don't eat like shit. Haven't had fast food since sometime in october and usually only eat one meal a day, probably not the healthiest meal if I am honest. Im guessing it has more to do with the fact I am getting closer to 40 and not moving as much as I used to. Something needs changing though. With the limited information I acquired I am gonna try to do the 3 meals a day thing instead of just eating once in the evening.

Today I went out and ran for the first time in a while. I used to love it when I was in shape. Now I'm at a Tomlinson 220 so I need to get after it. Also trying to do sets of back to back kettlebell swings pushups and planks. At one point I did the 10000 swing challenge and that was brutal but I felt great at the end.


I wasn't interspersing other exercises in between sets though

If you aren't sure whether you'd like to invest in more weights, go for resistance bands (Bodylastics are the best I've used) like some others have said. Those, pushups, a pull-up bar, and sprints will get you well on your way.

Any weightlifting gurus on here? I have goals to reach by the end of the year for my compound lifts and I am going to acheive them all except for squats.

I need to add 22 pounds to squats by the 31st of december. Theyve always been my weakest lift. My legs are shit. Any tips or "hacks"?

I currently do squats twice a week -- 1 day lifting heavy low reps (that I want to add 22 pounds to) and 1 day lifting lighter high reps.

Just eat good (no sugar aids, processed food aids, or much fruits) and workout every day. Also don't eat or drink water after 8pm so you sleep well. Went from 205 to 190 in the past two months and I feel constantly like I'm on xanax.
What are the benefits of no water after 8? Dont you need to hydrate before 8 hours of not drinking (sleep)?

I'm 6'2", my father was about 6'3.5". My brothers are 6'4",and the midget of the family we make fun of is 6'. My uncle was 6'5", and married a Mexican from Juarez, who's own sisters were 6'3", and made fun of my mom for being short. That's what you get when you mix Swedes and Germans.

Thats a lot of weight to add in a short time. Only thing I would say is try to add 5lbs every session.
