I may be getting my history mixed up because it was a long time ago. But there was a website called Wrestling Uncensored where people would post funny shit about wrestling, they were like the pests of wrestling fandom. One of the writers made a post saying because Rock was half black and half Samoan, that his father could dunk a basketball and his mother could eat a basketball. The day of the walk out, the owner of the WU site, Sickboy, was in studio. I'm guessing someone looked over the site before Rocks appearance and informed him of that post or quote or whatever.
