The bread in the fridge rules.
My mom always kept bread in the fridge. It always pissed me off because you'd make a sandwich and the bread would be all hard. Pretty sure it takes like 3+ weeks for store bought bread to spoil. Mine stays on the counter on top of the bread box because the bread box is all full of batteries.

Women (and Muslims I suppose) don't understand how refrigeration works. Bread's for the pantry or the freezer because the fridge kills it by drying it out.

I don't know why your batteries are in the bread box though, but I'm not from Canada/Israel.

I also keep my batteries in the fridge. It's where they belong.

Sometimes the store has the fawkin 2 for 1 deal and I cant pass it up but I also can't eat that much bread before it spoils so one goes into the freezer. I toast all my bread when I make sandwiches anyway so I can't even tell if it affects it
