Actually yes, now that you mention it. It's not an obscure clip per se, but it adds some interesting context. Aaaand I can't find it, but it's Dice doing the "gabbagabbaheypersonal" bit interspersed with clips of what sounds like an older Italian man saying the exact same gibberish, which I presume is where Dice got it. Nice lack of video, stupid.
Is this it?

I haven't seen it in years but I did watch it 3 or 4 times when it came out and then again on DVD. It's a very well made movie. It's a movie that captures a certain mood and time. The plot doesn't make a lot of sense but the scenes and characters are fun.

I mean the reason people collectively forgot that movie is only because of the lead actor. The world wasn't ready to have Ashton Kutcher play a serious role, and no matter how well he did, and he did do it well, it was never going to work. There are, of course, many aspects of the time travel in the film that make no sense, like why does he have to live his whole life over sometimes, and other times, such as in prison when he gets his "stigmata" is able to jump between timelines, however, it's not really a movie about time travel, it's a movie about regrets, and the scars we carry, erasers ripping through paper, very sad, very good. 4/5.

He's shockingly good in his new movie

I like it a lot better now than when it came out. Similar to "Fast Times at Ridgemont High", it did a really great job of capturing the zeitgeist and it wasn't obvious until years later.

Plus the soundtrack and music and moodiness of the whole thing is just about perfect.

I haven't seen that in years but I bet it holds up. I saw it in theaters. They were all depressing, but the timeline where he got his arms blown off so that faggot fat kid wouldn't end up in a loony bin and the fucking faggot fat kid ends up with the chick he loves was brutal to me. She's all happy and smoochin with the fat loser right in front of him while they're pushing him around in a fucking wheelchair. God damn. I got a pit in my stomach writing that. HE'S ONLY DOING ALL THIS TIME TRAVEL SHIT TO SAVE YOU, AMY SMART! YOU FUCKING WHORE! YOU BITCH!

I havent watched it, always heard great things. I will watch it eventually and probably think its shit. Just like everything else. I had the boys finally sit me down and make me watch some shitass Sandler flick once (I know this is a horrendous comparison) but fuck me, I HATED it. It was so fucking shitty. Billy Madison.

The original theatrical cut was great when I first saw it, but maybe because I was a teenager

As it turns out, when it comes to Donnie Darko this board suffers from a collective retardation. So confidently not knowing who made it or starred in it. It's a great film though.
